It is *not* being broadcast live this year.  In order to reduce the cost
of the facilities, the organizing committee had to look for a different
location.  Facility cost is a big issue because the OCA could be in the
hole for a big amount if not enough attendees and/or sponsors commit to
supporting it as it's always a break-even affair.  Losing money would be a
problem since even at a big club like the OCA, imagers make up a small
part of the club.  The availability of a fast enough internet link raises
the cost/risk and reduces the choices of location, so the decision was to
not broadcast live.  Sorry about that.

However, the conference will be available on CD in HTML/PDF form and
optionally, on video CD like it was in 2002.  The video could still be
streamed as a delayed event as one of our club members (Liam Kennedy)
actually has the streaming server and bandwidth, but the video CD seems
like a more practical choice all around.

If you have any opinions on the video streaming that you want me to pass
on to the committee, feel free to email me.
