RE: [APML] A few shots from last month

Not bad George!
I did find that 2 images really benefited from a bit of tweaking.
While the "unsaturated" look of Cygnus is kind of neat, it really came to
life by cranking up the saturation. A lot. It brings out a nice bluish milky
way - nice image! Your central milky way is really strong in the reds. By
messing around with levels and curves, a very nice colour balance was
possible, even on the jpeg. Couldn't fix your trailed image in Photoshop
though!

Subject: [APML] A few shots from last month

I finally have a few shots that I feel are worth sharing. They were taken
last month from a semi-dark sky environment near the Quebec USA border.
I haven't tried any gradient removal yet, I have to sit down with Gerry's CD
and run through the steps.

After being used to five to ten minute exposures under my local skies I was
pleasantly surprised to find some very thin negatives. Next outing I'll aim
for four times+ longer exposures.
