Hello! I’ve been using 4x5 inch TMax. It has some
(though minimal) red sensitivity compared to Tech Pan. I’ve read that Tech Pan can have bending of the
negative or film creep during exposures, especially with humid air. The TMax is
about 2/3 thicker, and I haven’t seen such a problem, though I’ve
only developed about 20 sheets. Has anyone had problems of film creep/bending
with large format TMax? I put some aquarium air hose attachments on my box
camera so I can hook up an aquarium pump with some calcium carbonate or other
dehumidifying agent, but I am not sure this would be needed with TMax. Best
regards. Mike --- |
