RE: [APML] Tech pan speed and developing

Best suggestion is to review Kodak's info sheet at
http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/p255/p255.jhtml
?id=0.1.18.14.21.22.16&lc=en#080

It has the ISO speed/developer combos and development time/contrast combos
to figure things out. D19 gives VERY HIGH contrast, and probably wouldn't
work for pictorial scenes unless you are looking for some kind of special
effect. Pictorial scenes usually use Technidol or HC-100.

When I had a functioning darkroom, HC-110 was my preferred developer for all
B/W work. It is a liquid developer that you dilute by various amounts
depending on the film speed/contrast capability you want. Dilution B (1
part soln : 31 parts water) is standard for most B/W films shooting
traditional scenes.

Subject: [APML] Tech pan speed and developing

Hi all,

I want to take pictures using tech pan except for
cityscape and some nighttime city shots.
I want to use it at 100 speed.
About how long do i develope the film for in D19?
Out of curiosity, if I were to use it at 25 spd, how
long would I have to develope also.

Thanks,
Brian
