I shot these two shots last weekend using
narrowband emission line filters: [SII], Ha and [OIII].
One is the neck region of the Pelican, shot through
my C14 with my FLI Dream Machine and AO7 with dichroic beam
splitter.
the other is the Great Ridge region of NGC7000 shot
through my AP180EDT with 0.75x telecompressor and ST10XME with a piggybacked
guidescope/camera (ST7E).
Pelican Neck:
shot at f/12.46, 6 hours exposure (two hours per
filter 4 x 30 minutes per filter)
Great Ridge in NGC7000:
shot at f/6.75, 2 hours 10 minutes total exposure
(4 x 10 minutes for [SII] and Ha, 5 x 10 minutes for [OIII])
Comments always appreciated, good or
bad.
I hope to shoot some E200 with my Pentax 6x7 this
weekend. I picked up a roll of that and a roll of Provia 400 today.
I am excited about shooting some more widefield
images in the Milky Way.
Maybe I can shoot some of these objects to
help me with the beginnings of a composite image?
