Re: [APML] Minolta s/w Vs. Vuescan



My experience has been that the Minolta software is fantastic with slides but
abysmal with negatives.  I don't shoot much print film, though, other than Agfa
Ultra 100, but that's not for astro work.  I tried Vuescan about 6 months ago
but didn't like the interface.  I have heard that it has a good list of
profiles for different films, whereas Minolta makes you do all the tweaking
yourself.  I'd be thrilled to figure out a way to scan my Agfa... it's the most
colorful, grain-free print film I've ever used.  Blows Portra UC out of the
water.
