I use lighten to combine Ha images with tech pan with color film images and
also CCD. You then get the best of both worlds, the bright Ha nebs and the
nice visible light stars. Neat STuff!

Carlos, I did a little SGBNR to the two close-ups, but not too much.
I still need more practice on SGBNR to make more aggressive changes.
Chris, the halos in the Lyra shot are made in PhotoShop. I use this
sequence: Gaussian blur--fade blur--adjust level--Gaussian blur--fade...
I increase the blur radius a little every time until the halos grow to the
size I want. Then I apply this halo image to the original using Lighten.
