Robert,
Probably one of the best lenses ever made by any manufacture. I owned one,
before I was doing astrophotography and still to this day regret selling it.
This months issue of Sky & Tel (August? Horsehead on the cover) has a cool
rig featured in it that is using a custom CCD chip mated to several of these
lenses, they are getting 50,000 stars in a single second exposure! The lens
is extremely well corrected and flat, though I never used it doing astro
shooting, hope some others here have some experience with this lens, as I
still can borrow my old lens and will do some shooting later this summer
trying it out.
