I was wondering about that. I guess I'd need an F4 or F5 to get the kind of
flash necessary but I'm stuck with my N60 right now. I've got an F3 but I
really like AF.

I learned some about guide #'s way back with a manual Minolta (XG-1) and a
small flash. I understand that range is pretty limited for small units
unless one uses high speed film as you have recommended.
