Re: [APML]New images with my Borg

Thanks Chris.  The M31 shot was just a test to see both the actual FOV and to fart around wasting time.  I would like to squeeze 5-6 hours of exposure on it in Sept or Oct.  As far as the color problems, I'm positive it isn't a film issue.  My scanner (Sprintscan 35) sometimes spits out terrible color scans with really bad banding and terrible color balance.  I try adjusting the prescan but I come up with results that reflect the time and effort.  A print of the Gamma Cygni shot made from the negative looks fine.  I've tried different approaches to the problem in the past couple days but wound up with nothing.  I might need to look into a picking up a new scanner.

Daniel, the color shot of M31 is stunning.  What type of color problems are you haveing, I know the fuji HQ100 was best hypered about 12 to 16 hours in my hyper tank to get good color response.
