Loren, thanks for the kind words.

I did not invent the mouseover switch to a star chart. Many others have used this technique before me. I'm not sure who first used this technique with star charts, but it certainly is a great application and is very useful. Besides switching to a star chart, it can be used to compare various versions of a processed image, or to point out particular objects of interest. I've also seen Matt BenDaniel use the mouseover technique to compare night and day widefield images of the same scene.
