[APML] E100G is a dud
Last night I tried E100G in my Takahashi FSQ-106, f/5 two hours pushed
one, on Rho Ophiuchus. I didn't get much color at all, and there is an
overall green cast. So I'd say this film doesn't work well for
astrophotography. I think my only choice in color 4x5 is Provia 100F,
and I'm not satisfied with it for dim nebulae either. Back to Techpan!
Too bad, because the FSQ nicely fills 4x5 film.
I hooked up an air dryer to the camera, and it worked great. It is an
aquarium pump pushing air through a DriRite cartridge into the camera.
I see no evidence of film movement, which was sometimes a problem
before.
Does anyone know of an adaptor to go between the thread on the back of
the FSQ and a Giant Easy Guider?
