Your initial setting will be done in the "index"
window. The default setting is, well, default, which sets up as 705 dpi
input and 300 dpi output. To the right of the default field is a button that
you will need to go into. In the drop down window, select film recorder,
then 2k. Hit okay and it will take you back to the index window. You will
notice that the new default input will be 1433 and the output will be be set
to 2400dpi. You can now scan at the max of 2820 and it will be at 16bit
(filmrecorder>2k sets you up in 16bit mode). If you have any problems or
