Hi Alan and All,

I actually have more or less the same kind of experience here. There's a photoshop just around the block that scans exactly as I want (full resolution with no automatic removing of dust and scratches, i prefer to do that manually myself) and they know me now very well :-) I'm even a bit lucky as the old owner of the photoshop and his son are very keen to astronomy, so they are quite willing to help me.
But I still have to train them more about pre-curving when scanning....;-)
