I had previously had good luck with this guy, which is why 
I returned to him today.  The other shop is a bit out of the
way and charges 2X though they do good work.

Fwiw, I put several daylight shots on the roll, and also
skipped frames.  I think skipping frames may be what screwed
them up... When I skipped frames, they were dark - ie not exposed,
hence no frame outline.  Next time I'm going to make the
"skip" frames actually exposed with a red light.  Though this
will also likely mess them up and they'll cut on the "underexposed"
parts which is where the astro photo lives.

Hmph.  I'm actually thinking of just developing this stuff myself.

(This is the first time its happened to me.)
