RE: [APML] Astrophoto results from desert southwest



Hello John,
Thanks for the nice comments.  We did not push the E200.  I guess the
shots that made me switch to E200 were the Rho Traveler and the 300mm
Pipe Nebula.  I just thought they had all of the color I needed and were
more robust than the Provia.  My plan was to actually combine the two
together to really achieve good color balance, but the weather did not
allow this.  I hope that helps and thanks again.

    It doesn't get much better than that! Your exposures look bang on
and
the processing is excellent. Your Rho Ophiuchus shot with the Traveler I
find amazing for E200 - the blues are great! I haven't been able to get
this
kind of blue performance from E200. Did you push it at all? You also
mention
that you dropped Provia 400F after the first night. Would you care to
elaborate a bit more on why? Thanks!
