Reference the large image:

This image has amazing star colors and could serve as a calibration image.

For example:

Center Cross star is F8 which is about as pure white as a star gets - just as it shows

Left Cross star is K0 which is about as yellow as a star gets - again, just right

Extreme left of center is a G0 star which should be a little whiter than our sun (G2V).
That G0 star has a pale yellow color which supports my belief that G2V stars should
be a pale yellow rather than pure white.
