[APML] E100G

I tried Kodak E100G last night on the veil nebula (6992). It works
well enough that it is worth experimenting with further. Unfortunately
clouds interfered with the guiding so I don't have a picture worth
posting. My initial response is that it provides excellent star
colors, and is fairly red sensitive. It picked up the veil, but not as
strongly as E200. The blue-green and other colors are absent. I shot
for three hours at about f/7, C14 with giant easy guider. I developed
the film normally. Because this film is slower than E200, it is
marginal for dim objects like the veil. I'll try it on something
brighter like M27 when I can. I'd also like to try on a reflection
nebula, like M20. I'm not able to make a grain comparison yet, but it
should be finer than E200.

My interest in using this film is its availability in 4x5 format.
