[APML] M27 outer nebulosity

Hi all,

I just posted Trent Kjell's deep field image of M27 in color. The image was 
taken with a 180F7 refractor with core detail added from my 10" Mak. Camera 
is ST10E. The image is at:

I have a question about Photoshop 7. When I save an image from this program, 
it looks very dark when posted on the Web or when opened in any other 
program. I have tried every combination of color setting with no effect. What 
is this program doing? What should the settings be and why are the default 
settings wrong to begin with???
