Others have said it and I'll say it, too: buy some archival pages for
negatives. Any decent photo shop (at least here in the US) will have
them. They can even be found in the photo department of many
department store. Make sure it says "archival" someplace.
One of the first things I did when I started this hobby was buy an
archival box and archival storage pages for the negatives. I also
have similar pages to store prints and slides, although more recently
I have the local developer just develop and not mount my slides.
Also, I burn a CD with all of the exposure information and the
unprocesses scans allowing me to go back and start over if I lose
anything. I currently use ofoto.com to print the processed images and
keep tape backup of my web site which also has processed copies.
But the biggest thing right now is to get your film into real archival
storage sleaves.
