RE: [APML] Simeis Tricolor and reverse B&W

Loke a very difficult target. You have recorded the filaments very well,
but the background appears very purplish on my monitor.

Subject: [APML] Simeis Tricolor and reverse B&W

Just managed to process a tricolor Schmidt image of Simeis (Sh2-247) a
supernova remnant in Taurus. The image was taken last year. Processing
it has been a real challenge. The link also includes a B&W reverse video
of the red channel. This B&W version shows the faint nebulosity much
better than the color version.
