[APML] scanning from print and from film

Dear All,

I was wondering what should I do with my roll of film developed last 
week. Should I make it printed and then scanning with my flatbed scanner 
or ask to the photoshop to put the negatives on photocd?
I guess the second one is the best as I would get more resolution and 
"truer" colors, but I'm not quite sure if I'm imagine more exciting 
things then what I should expect or not....

What do you think about it?

PS: As soon as I scan and process them I show them to you all, I
