Monte, 
That is awesome.  If I had a raw image like that, I would be afraid of
screwing it up with my "enhancement" techniques.  Mike, like Monte
asked, are you seeing these compression artifacts at the .jpg level or
the .tif?  I had difficulty downloading the .tif.  I will try again.  I
am just trying to learn how to identify an compression artifact.  Thanks
for posting Monte and thanks for any help with the question, Mike.
