[APML] New Image of Deneb Region
Hello, I mostly lurk here and rarely post because I have so much more to
learn than to offer. However, I have produced a wide-field image of the
region around Deneb with which I'm fairly pleased.
After much trial and tribulation, I am finally *beginning* to get more
consistent results when imaging (all film). I am still very much learning
how to process images in RegiStar and Photoshop however. This image is a
combination of three separate raw images combined in RegiStar. I then took
the combination and did some basic manipulation in Photoshop. My only
modifications in Photoshop were to darken it using curves and to boost the
red channel just a bit using levels.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the star images using the 50mm Zuiko
(Olympus) lens. The star images are round and free from chromatic aberration
right into the corners of the image.
