[APML] How to stack images ?

Hi,

I have read lots of information about imageprocessing using the
links posted here on the list.
I have tried it with Picture Window  (Demo-Version) to blend
two images to get more contrast (used the method described by Jerry L)
but I got a result without much more contrast...

Does anybody want to try it ? It is a image from NGC1396 taken with
my 5.5" Schmidtcamera on hypered Technical Pan each exposed for
20 minutes.

I would appreciate a short describition how you processed it.
I have Picture Window 3.1 (Demo) and Photoshop V. 5.0 to
follow your steps.

I'm just getting into this field of imageprocessing.
