Your madness is appealing.  I think your green works better than say
viridian + cerulean mixed, because if you slid that way, you might then
have to cool down the red-or go way red-orange to get a compliment
contrast.  That would kill the contrasts you've obviously laboured to
achieve. 

Leaving the palette as is allows blue to express as red-violet at the
nebulas' right side.  This contributes even more to the rather precise
alizerin crimson-viridian compliment contrast.  One is even tempted to
mix your colours to get a pleasing, overall neutral.
