Re: [APML] Trouble with ST-4 & LX-200

I've found that C1/C2 of 3 and making **darned** sure the blasted
thing is well balanced on both the Dec and RA axes makes life easier.

When I say **darned** I mean really, really, really, darned sure it's
as balanced as I can get it for the spot I'm looking at. So much so
that I built a symmetrical balancing thing-a-ma-jig to use instead of
the rail-plus-weight that I had on the OTA. (The description is in
the MAPUG archives).

Also, FL=Short because I use a Lumicon GEG. SA=10 because my seeing
generally stinks. And set it to Faint mode.

'course I'm writing this from memory because I think decent seeing
has been zoned out in my area for the last 6 months ...

Regards,
Matt

PS I've never had a problem with my relays.
