Bonjour... comment ca va? I had
the good fortune to visit Tahiti as a tourist and spend 10 days on Moorea...
felt like crying when we left... yup... paradise! But some things sure are
expensive... like eating out... we spent a lot of time eating baguettes and
fromage avec des fruits.
One night it was clear and
the Milky Way was just on fire... a cloud came in front of the Sagittarius
region and it looked as if the full moon was behind the cloud there was so much
light streaming out from the cloud! Amazing... I never thought that at sea level
it could be so clear, but you have zero air pollution down there I guess... we
were there in the "dry" season, too. Anyway, you have some amazing skies when
it's not cloudy. Hope to come down there again... anyone on the list looking for
a truly memorable vacation, visit Tahiti!
