I prefer d, as the contrasting colours and background look more
"real" than manufactured.

For the purists amongst you, try to make an
aesthetic evaluation without looking at the
histograms (what's he done to that histogram?
I hear you all asking).
Appreciate your comments. If there is a vast
difference of opinion, I'll explain what I did.
