Although CCDsharp is a little better, the AIP LR can be made to look
the same by applying an Unsharp Mask at 100%, 2 R and 2 T. Both images
might also benefit from some masked processing tailored for just the bright
center of the galaxy. Rank order processing might produce some extra
detail for that area.
As always, a beautiful image.
