RE: [APML] (OT) Airline Case for Schmidt Camera?
Steve,
If you can get it to fit in the overhead bin, then you most likely would
be able to take on board. Most major carriers are limiting passengers to
1 carry-on as well. I suggest you check with your air carrier and find
out dimensions and restrictions. I'd do this via an agent at the airport
if possible, they'll have the most current information. Things may also
vary from agent to agent, at least they do at my airline. Plan on the
most restrictive thing you hear, that may affect your return leg.
Good luck

Subject: [APML] (OT) Airline Case for Schmidt Camera?
Hello All Schmidt Camera owners.,
I am going to Australia in November and would like to
take my 8" Celestron Schmidt Camera with me. Any ideas on a
good case for taking it on the airplane? Anyone traveled on
a plane with thier schmidt before?
Thanks,
Steve Barnes
