yup. craps out lots of satellite photos. 

certain Russian tank facility was never imaged adequately due to clouds. smart guys them Russians. hopefully their 5 year plan didn't put an optical observatory there.

I wonder if "seeing" is dependant upon location or distance from the 
atmosphere. Would photographs or visual observations of the earths surface 
from space suffer the same seeing effects as the reverse situation?
