It is only those near the top of the list (based upon
subscribe dates) that will receive duplicates.  It is
a fail-safe feature (not a bug! <g>) of Majordomo to
insure that everyone receives a copy of a post.  If
the program detects any glitch at all it stops the 
current batch and resends from the beginning.

This is why it is so important whenever this happens
to not post multiple "what is going on?" messages.
If the server is bogged down for some reason posting
additional messages doesn't help things.....
