An additional test that I think would be useful for astrophotography would be
to use an LED at 500nm (if you can find one). It seems almost all films 
have poor response here because of the nature of the layers. It seems that
PPF is the only film with some response at 500nm but I wonder how much
compared to the center wavelengths of each layer.
