It's possible that the program you recently installed has over-written a
DLL file with something that Photoshop doesn't like. I would re-install
Photoshop.

Do you have 5 times the file size available as free hard drive space for
virtual memory? You might even want to set up a partition devoted
specifically and exclusively to a Photoshop swap file (virtual memory), and
keep it defragged. Photoshop uses it's own swap file, and manages it
itself, separate from Win95.

Paste as a layer, choose DIFFERECE as the option. Then use IMAGE:ROTATE
CANVAS:ARTIBRARY and experiment.

You can use the line tool set to zero pixels and draw from the exact center
of the image to find out fairly closely how much you need to rotate. Blow
up the image and go to the two stars in a corner that need to be aligned
and note the difference between the angle displayed for the line tool in
the info box.
