Jerry told me once he likes the D screen. It's very precise for focusing.
The E screen is very similar, except with a grid of lines.I think they work

very good for planetary focusing (not a dim fuzzy)
But to me, they are not bright enough to make framing and composition easy
for dimmer deep sky objects.
That's why I've been using the clear M screen with the tape.  
Anybody know the thickness of scotch tape?
