That's not true. Latin is a well known and spoken language, even in
the present! Here in Italy, Latin is the official Vatican's language,
even if the Holy Miss is usually celebrated in italian. Latin is
everything but a dead language.
Only italians can speak latin correctly, 'cause italian is a straight
direct descendant of latin, without any of the phonetic and graphemic
troubles of the english :-)))
