[APML]: Webpage online, at last!!!

WOW, there is a partial english translation of my webpage online, now!
:-)

Deep Void, that's the name of the webpage, is completely dedicated to
amatorial astronomy and astrophotography. Deep Void is designed for
Netscape 4.0, but some tests made with older versions of the browser
and with Internet Explorer didn't gave any problem. Anyway, you must
activate Javascript to navigate through the pages. Where possible, the
images are available both in low and high resolution, to let anyone
choose the best file lenght for his own connection. The best look of
the pages is achieved using a screen resolution of 800x600 pixels,
using at least 16 bpp (65.000 colors). At this resolution, you should
maximize your browser window; at higher resolutions, there is an
indicator showing the correct dimension of the window; just take a
look at the "Monitor setup" page.

There are three main sections, always available through the upper
toolbar:

1) "Gallery", which contains some pictures of mine. This section is
divided into three subcathegories (Deep sky, Comets and Solar System).
This section is complete and totally translated into english, at this
time. Soon, I'll add new images (I hope).

2) "Projects", which contains the descriptions of the accessories I've
made up, like the guider machined 80 mm. refractor, the illuminated
pulsating reticle, and so on. This section is largely incompleted, at
this time, 'cause many translations are still missing. I'm working on
that. In the meantime, for you who can read italian, you can read the
italian version :-)

3) "Links", which WILL contain a huge collection of links, resources,
infos, APMLers webpages, and so on. This section is still missing both
in the italian and the english version. I'm still working to organize
the collection, but I have a girl in mind, at this time, so I'll
probably neglect the html editing just a little in the future... :-)))

Navigation through the documents is possible using the upper toolbar.
Clicking on the Deep Void's logo, at the upper right corner, will
bring you back to the index page. Here you can find a little
hyerogliph, wich can bring you to my personal webpage; but this
webpage is written totally in italian, so you can forget it without
too many problems :-)

I would like to ask for you to help me in checking the pages to find
out mistakes, errors, mispellings; notwithstanding I'm speaking
english from birth I am most of all italian! :-) Tell me also what
about the design; almost everything is coming from me (but some
background jpegs, "stolen" here and there on the web), from the
graphics to the javascripts.

I would like also to seize the opportunity to ask all of you for
comments about my photos; I'm working to increase the number of
pictures, but the weather seems to be very hostile, at this time!!!
:-)

Finally, let me thank from my heart all of the APML's partecipants for
giving me so many inputs and impulses to improve this exciting and
astounding hobby. You are a great part of my love for the stars!

Ok, take a look at www.mclink.it/personal/MC7872/deepvoid/deepvoid.htm
and let me know.

Ciao!!! :-)
