I wish I knew what was going on! I just used the link to my site you
quoted in your email to test the connection to my site. Everything
worked fine!

I think you need to talk to your ISP.

One thing you could test is to see if you can connect to the home page
of Earthlink at http://www.earthlink.net I think there's a way to
navigate to the hosted web sites through links from this page. If you're
able to get to the home page and navigate to everywhere but the free web
site (which all begin with "home" instead of "www") then I think that
might indicate that your ISP has a problem with server names that don't
start with "www.")

Are you able to connect to any free AOL sites? They all start with
"member." Try this one, it's a site I developed at work for a client:
