[APML]: LX-200 FIELD DE-ROTATOR

Some help s.v.p. I called a Meade distributor the other day about the
new field de-rotator available now on the LX-200 10" scope (all of the
LX-200s, actually). I was told that the field de-rotator device
replaces the need for a wedge and is even superior in that the scope
is less susceptible to viberation than when using the wedge.

Later I asked him about Meade's OAGs and was told that the OAG was
incompatible with the field de-rotator.

Since the field de-rotator replaces the wedge I don't understand why
it can not be used with an OAG. Perhaps I misunderstood what the
sales rep meant but he repeated himself when I questioned him.

Any enlightenment would be appreciated.
