I believe this is more accurate.
I don't think Mike is nuts. I have a surplus 8" SCT myself and have considered
reconstructing it to either make a superior moving mirror focuser *or* fix the
mirror good and attach a good focuser on the end. I'm afraid the quality of the
optics may render this exercise futile :-)
BTW, anybody want to buy a good condition Meade 2080 LX3 with access???
