Thanks again for the reply. I suspected that the reflection might be a
result of the differing indices of refraction at some layer in the
atmosphere, but I'm impressed to hear that there is enough reflection to
measure like that! I have enjoyed hearing about your project...(and have
abandoned any fleeting thoughts of trying it in my back yard!) :)
