     A Lumicon Newtonian Easy Guider will work with some refractors. 
One exception would be the Astrophyics refractors when used with one of
the rear placed field flatteners.  One of the only bad things about this
OAG is that the prism will vignette if it is not parallel to the long
axis of the 35 mm frame.  Also, I am not sure if you could use a
non-vignetting focal reducer with this OAG.  Using a guide scope with
your refractor is a far better and easier method to use.
