The cost of a new Sure Sharp/Duo View/Right Angle Finder setup is something like $25 shy
of the
B&K Astrofocuser. In practice, there are no threads to strip with the Sure Sharp system
as you
describe; a simple quick release system is employed. In my C11 there is a very large and
bright pattern to interpret while focusing. After focus is achieved I use the Duo View
with an
~1" focal length eyepiece (gives the approximate filed for 35mm) to find and center my
target -
this is very handy especially when most times one can not even see the target in the
viewfinder
no matter what screen is employed. I have come to rely heavily on the Duo View accessory.
