Funny you mention that - it was a problem. I dug holes in the ice for 
the legs.

Phil met up with me and his scope must have been warm: the Celestron's 
leg tips bonded to the ice after a short while.

I take it you've had the same crap weather down in TX - no chance to get 
the schmidt out?
