M45 looks good but it looks like the comet is just out of frame at the
top. I think I can see the tip of the tail.

This has been a terrible winter for any kind of AP, but much to my
surprise, it cleared on Jan 5th. I tossed the Schmidt and some tech pan into
the car and headed out of town. There were complications due to the cold and
whatnot but I managed to get one shot that looks not too bad. (manually
guided!) For those of you procrastinating under clear skies - get out there
and shoot this!! What a wonderful pairing of objects.
