RE: [APML] Star trails ID challenge



Hey Stan,

looking at the picture and considering the data given (location and
time), I'd say you're looking south-southeast. The moon was near full
and is shining from the left (brighter sky, plus the shadows are to the
right). The curve of the stars also suggests that the SCP is below and
right of the picture.

My guess is that the bright star above the cactus is Deneb Kaitos (in
Cetus) and the bright one to its right is Ankaa (Phoenix).
