     Thanks for all the info on Hawaii ... I did the "sunrise trip" on
Haleakala some years ago and drooled over the potential it had for doing
astronomy up there ... what I remember was how cold it was! Balmy 75 F. down
below, a bone chilling 34 F at the top ... we shivered under a blanket and
watched the sunrise with about 50 other tourists ... awesome views and
experience ...
