If someone decides to image from Mauna Kea, can they set up somewhere above
the visitor center or do they have to stay there or below?  The top has some
pretty thin air.  I was up there a year ago and just walking around was an
effort without stopping at a lower altitude for a day or so.  No tourists
hanging around though and the Big Island is very beautiful.

The summit of Haleakala is lower and accessible 24 hours but is loaded with
tourists.  I think someplace to setup for imaging might be harder to find. .
Maui is also beautiful and has great beaches for daytime activity.

Just my perspective.
