Hi Scott,

    There's a way to get rid of the gaps in the histogram, although it's not
very kosher ... double the file size in PS ... this forces PS to interpolate
values inbetween the gaps, then cut the file size back to the original size
... most if not all of the gaps will be gone. This does nothing for your
real resolution but it does smooth the data.

    Also, please email me privately about what format you need for that M42
composite ... the time approacheth ... I have broadband now so I might be
able to email you the data if you have fast internet.
